December 4th Meeting

Well I trust that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Plenty of food and a great time to send with family and friends. But it's also a great time to take stock in all that we have to be thankful for.
Well our next meeting will be December 4th, 6:30 pm at Larry's BBQ. We will be discussing details on our riding in the annual Christmas Parade here in Andalusia. The parade will take place on December 5th and start at 7:00 pm. The line up will start at the football stadium and go up East Three Notch Street and go around the square to South Cotton Street then turn left and go down Tisdale Street with the parade ending at the First Baptist Church parking lot.
As Ray stated at the last meeting, this is a way to let our lights shine forth. Matthew 5 :16 says, "Let your shine so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
Please encourage any member that you might run into to be sure and attend the meetings. This group's success depends on everyone being faithful to attend each meeting. If you know of anybody that would like to join us, invite them to come and see what they think.
God bless till next time!

Chrome Knights for Christ Motorcycle Club

Well this is the new website for the "Chrome Knights for Christ" Motorcycle Club. This has been the dream of Allan Cory to be able to start a club that will minister to the motorcyclist in our area. The officers at this time are:
President: Allan Cory
Vice- President:
Secretary-Treasurer: Steve McGowin
Special Event Coor: Gallen Griggers
Public Relations: Allan Cory
Ride Captain: Mike Bulger
Sgt. At Arms: Steve McGowin & Mike Bulger
Chaplain: David "Shorty" Short

We are getting closer to a final mock-up with the correct colors and lay out. Mike Bulger has been a great help in this project and Paul Stuart, the Sign Man (old Q Printing) has bent over backwards to work with us. Thank you Paul and Mike.

The response from the community has been great. Everyone that I have talked to seems to be very open to supporting a non-denominational bike club.

For right now, we are meeting at the Covington Electric Coop the 1st and 3rd Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. Remember, there are no membership fees or dues, donations are a blessing.

If you would like to know more about the Chrome Knights for Christ, please contact Allan Cory at 222-0490. This is not just another motorcycle club that gets together to ride just for the fun of it. We ride with a reason! To let our love for Jesus shine.
