Our 2nd Ride: Swamp Supper Ride this Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009
For Men only (sorry ladies, it is not to leave you out, but this event is set up to minister to men and their sons) We will be meeting at the Andalusia Hardee's at 8 am and ride to Luverne, Al.
We have a NEW monthly meeting time: The first and third Tuesday of each month for the next three months. In March, the meeting dates will be: Tuesday, March 3 and 17 @ 6:30PM at the Co-op on Hwy 84.
PATCH NEWS: The color patches for our vest are on sale NOW for $25.00 and must be paid for when the patches are ordered. We have to have at least 25 to be able to get them at this price. Allan has the design and colors that were agreed upon. We are going to try to place this order by March 15th.
UP COMING:
*Visiting churches once a month as a group - want to show us your church? Call Allan, or if you are willing to be the "ONE" to coordinate this activity, let him know @ 222-0490.
*A Ride to The Wall in Pensacola is being planned for March 14, 2009. We will meet at Hardee's and ride out at 8am, visit The Wall, listen to our members who served or lost love ones and finish with lunch before we come home early afternoon.
*The idea of a bi-monthly prayer meeting is being suggested by some of our members and we would like your feedback. Time, location, and format are all up for discussion at our next meeting.

The Settlement Trip at Christmas 2008
This is just an example of what we want to do to help others. Please read and enjoy.
First I would like to thank God for a good year in 2008. God blessed me in many ways. I couldn't tell you all of them, but, one especially stands out. God allowed me to meet a group of young men, in the Settlement, who were just great. My heart went out to them instantly.
Along with some members of the Chrome Knights for Christ Motorcycle Club, we gathered Christmas gifts for these young men and a few days before Christmas we delivered the gifts to the boys. My two grandsons, Logan and Jakan, and my wife Faye enjoyed about 2 hours of playing basketball, video games and fellowship with the boys and the staff. They had put up a beautiful Christmas tree with decorations all over the living room and the boys were very excited to add their personalized stockings over the mantel. The boys were great and enjoyed our company. We were all blessed! Great blessings come from small deeds when your heart is in it. Looking forward to 2009.
God Bless,
Ray Kyle and Family

Remember Meeting Times and Place
Just a short note here to remind everyone that the Chrome Knights for Christ Motorcycle Club still meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday night of each month at Covington Electric Cooperative at 6:30 p.m. It's very important to try and attend each meeting to see what's on the agenda. I believe the Lord has great things in store for this club this year. We had made great strides through the close of 2008 and it's no telling what is in store for 2009. Please make every effort you can to make it. God bless!
